If you’ve been building websites or apps for a while, then were probably a little turned off by TailwindCSS the first time you saw it.

And maybe you’ve tried it and found it difficult to adopt because it’s so different.

I’m here to say you need to get past that. Try it on a 2nd or 3rd project and you’ll start to see how much a game-changer, it truly is when it comes to designing and building websites or apps.

Today I’ll give you 5 reasons to adopt TailwindCSS and never look back.

First, if you’re not familiar with TailwindCSS, it’s a unique framework that streamlines how we design and build with HTML and CSS.

It’s built on the concept of utility classes, that you can use directly in your HTML markup to apply design and layout, without accumulating thousands of lines of separate CSS files.

And Tailwind crazy popular. You can see how active it is looking at its github project.

But the real sign that I look for in any project is how well documented it is. Tailwind has some of the best technical documentation I’ve seen from any tool. I definitely encourage you to take a look at their site.

I’m friends with Adam Wathan and the other members of the TailwindLabs team and they’re some of the best, most talented professionals in our industry.

5 reasons to adopt TaikwindCSS and don’t look back.

  • Build faster

  • Faster and easier to make changes

    • Zero refactoring required

  • Best practices built in

  • Reuse configs across projects

  • Design first approach to front-end.

    • Truest form of designing in the browser.
